Overwhelmed And Confused At Menopause? There Is No Need To Be…

A recent poll of menopause women in my Facebook Group Natural Menopause – Making the Midlife Switch revealed that many women at peri-menopause and menopause are feeling confused and overwhelmed by their symptoms; unsure about how to deal with them and not even certain that they can. They often feel distraught, depressed and desperate at this life stage, clinging on by their finger nails, like a shadow of their former selves. The internet, packed full of conflicting information fuels the confusion making it almost impossible for them to know what to do or who to believe.

One hundred or so years ago this wouldn’t have been a problem as women were not living much past 50, but these days, when women go through menopause at the average age of 51, and life expectancy is so much longer than ever before, it becomes a real issue. How can a woman possibly enjoy her life if she is besieged by night sweats, lacking sound sleep, waking feeling anxious, suffering wild mood swings, seriously lacking energy, aching to the point where she feels ninety rather than fifty, preferring chocolate to love making?

Today a woman can expect to live for at least an additional 30 years after menopause in a much faster and sometimes pressured world. In order to enjoy these bonus years it’s vital we have the tools to effectively manage the often debilitating symptoms of the menopause and learn how to keep ourselves looking good and feeling well long after the menopause, allowing us to feel energetic, sexy again and full of renewed confidence.

I can remember quite clearly as a child my aunts, who were my grandmother’s sisters, all in their forties or fifties, fanning themselves and collectively experiencing their menopause. They looked like a matronly bunch and one could be forgiven for thinking they were old ladies.

Just two generations later as we go through our menopause, the majority of us still look and feel youthful and, unlike our aunts in generations gone by, many of us will have at least a third of our lives left to look forward to. As we have this extra time it’s vitally important to live it in good health rather than being crippled by heart disease, the bone thinning disease osteoporosis and dementia.

Over the last 25 years, with my team at the Natural Health Advisory Service, we have helped thousands of women through their peri-menopause, the five years leading up to the menopause, and tens of thousands more to overcome their menopause symptoms. Our studies show that over 90 percent of the women who followed our programme were symptom free within five months.

By working to overcome what I call the short-term symptoms of the menopause you will automatically be working towards protecting your bones, heart and memory in the long term and at the same time learn how to meet the needs of your body so that you can genuinely enjoy the rest of your life without being overwhelmed by unwanted symptoms.

The programme, which is based on published medical science, provides women with the secrets of the Natural Health Advisory Service Programme so that they can devise a tailor-made version for themselves to help control symptoms of the peri-menopause, the often depressing and debilitating symptoms of the menopause and even wean themselves off HRT.

During the programme I teach a woman how to prepare herself for midlife, learning how to meet her nutritional needs, successfully deal with menopause symptoms naturally, get back into good physical shape, regain zest for life, revive self-esteem, get back into good physical shape, restore memory, reframe attitudes to midlife, lose weight without dieting, rekindle libido so that you feel like a sexy women again, as well as protecting yourself against osteoporosis, heart disease and memory loss in the longer-term.

I don’t have a magic wand so it does involve some commitment and work on your part but together we can get you feeling better than you can remember. As the actor Cherie Lunghi said after going through my programme “I feel 500 percent better”. I wish this for you too and wanted you to know that there is no need to go on suffering.
